Match Day Changes
This coming season break we will implement some match day changes that will affect most of the countries on the North and South American continents. Monday and Thursday (CET) will no longer be match days. A long time ago when dinosaurs still roamed the earth, we expanded Hattrick to a lot of leagues, and that expansion made us spread match times out to different days and times since our IT resources back then couldn't simulate all those matches close together in time. Now our technology is improved, but it remains problematic to have matches spread out so much throughout the week.
Why is it problematic? Glad you asked: on Mondays we have to deal with the fact that some leagues played matches in a different week (from our servers' perspectives, at least), and Thursdays are problematic because they are too close to the training updates. In order to avoid these problems we need to adjust the match days for the following leagues:
Argentina
Belize
Brazil
Colombia
El Salvador
Guatemala
Honduras
Mexico
Panama
Peru
Uruguay
USA
We realize this may not be a popular change, as we understand you may have grown accustomed to when your matches are being played, and perhaps even planned your weekends around being able to watch your matches live. While these changes are unavoidable, we still want to give you a chance to influence when the matches for your league are to be played. The options are to move the matches 24 hours earlier, or to move them only a few hours - depending on server availability - as we would like to avoid delays on match days. You can find the poll about these changes in the local forums of the affected leagues.

Editorial: Team Creation Changes - And a Place for the Homies
This month, we've worked on big changes to how new teams are created in Hattrick. Hattrick will no longer reuse teams, which will make things smoother for new users and also change how botification of teams work.
In addition to this and a set of smaller improvements around the site, we want to give a heads-up to a new international league that will open next season: The Hattrick Homegrown League.

Deportivo Mato Grande Seizes Masters Title!
In a pulsating clash on Thursday, Deportivo Mato Grande clashed with Barack Osama in the
Hattrick Masters Final. This intense showdown marked the first Masters finals appearance for both Cape Verde and Peru.
The match erupted with an early goal just 4 minutes in, giving Deportivo the lead. But the Peruvian side fought back fiercely, securing an equalizer in the 28th minute. At halftime, the score stood at 1 - 1, setting the stage for a thrilling second half.
With tensions escalating, Gaspar Olival stepped up, scoring the decisive goal in the 52nd minute. Ultimately, Deportivo emerged triumphant with a 2 - 1 victory and claiming the Hattrick Masters trophy.

Switch to Summer Time
On Sunday morning, Central European Time (CET) switches to summer time (daylight savings time). This means that the hour between 02:00 and 03:00 CET will never occur. Of course, all matches, transfers, and so on will happen, just formally one hour late. Please be aware of this for transfer deadlines, matches, etc.
